Grass = Summer Safe

Pinellas County has just sent out a reminder about the rainy season fertilizer restrictions on all grass and plants from June 1st through September 30th. This restriction does not allow us to use anything to treat our area with fertilizers that have nitrogen and/or phosphorous.

Also, do not forget that anyone who lives on the lake cannot add this fertilizer from the coast up to ten feet back every day of the year. These fertilizers can cause a large algae bloom, which then lowers oxygen in the water and can kill fishes.
