New Resident Welcome Letter

Welcome to the Hidden Lake Community!

On behalf of the Hidden Lake Homeowners Association Board of Directors and your fellow neighbors, we’d like to extend a warm welcome to you! We're excited to have you as part of our community and look forward to connecting with you—whether it’s a friendly chat while walking down the street, at the park, or during one of our community events.

At your convenience, please take a moment to register at our website, www.hiddenlakehoa.com, and provide us with your contact information. This will help us stay in touch with you about important updates and events, as well as information on our meetings and annual dues. Here you’ll find information about upcoming eventsannouncementsvolunteer committees, and more. You can also download the Declarations and Bylaws or reach out to us if you need them emailed.

About Your HOA Board

The Hidden Lake Homeowners Association is run by a dedicated group of volunteer board members. Our directors oversee the daily operations, financial responsibilities, and ensure compliance with community guidelines. We encourage you to take a look at our Declarations and Bylaws available on the community website to familiarize yourself with the rules and expectations.

Join Us at Our Monthly Meetings

We hold monthly board meetings on the second Thursday of each month via Google meets, as well as in person. All homeowners are encouraged to attend. This is a great way to stay informed and engaged with the happenings in the community. Meeting link information will be shared on the website, on our social media group pages as well as on signs at our entrances before the meeting. Our annual meeting is in June. A newsletter outlining an agenda, anything to be voted on, as well as our annual budget report and Annual Dues to be paid will be provided before the meeting. These Dues will be due by July 1st.

Garbage Collection and Bulk Pickup

To keep things efficient and affordable for all homeowners, we’ve partnered with a single company for garbage collection services. Trash pickup is included in your Annual Dues. Trash is picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays, and recycling is on Wednesdays. We also have quarterly bulk trash pickup days, the last Saturday of the quarter, and you can find the schedule on our website.

Events and Holiday Contests

Annually, we hold a Halloween Decoration and Christmas Decorating Contest. Each year we see more participation from residents and encourage you to be involved. Information for voting will be included in our board meeting notes as well as our Facebook social media pages. Our newly appointed Social Committee plans occasional neighborhood driveway gatherings as well as seasonal events in the park. Enable regular notifications from our website when you register for the most up to date information on these events.2

Architectural Review Process

As you settle into your new home, you may have ideas for exterior improvements or landscaping. Please remember that any changes to your home or property must be approved by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). They ensure that any updates align with our community's guidelines. You should submit your plans directly through our website through the Architecture Committee Concern form.
